Lisa Daft, DMD
Dr. Lisa Daft is a native Rhode Islander who attended Cranston High School West and Hofstra University before gaining early admittance to Temple University School of Dentistry. She graduated in 1998 and began practicing in Seekonk. She and Dr. Stubbs became partners in October 2004 and Dr. Daft became the primary owner in 2011. Dr. Daft lives locally with her husband and two children.
In her spare time she enjoys running, skiing, golfing, and watching her children participate in sports.
Dr. Daft has attended the prestigious Pankey Institute in Miami Fl, a continuing education facility that focuses on comprehensive treatment including, occlusion, TMJ, and restoring complex dental cases. She has proudly earned her Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry, by completing over 1100 hours of continuing education.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She also completed a surgical implant mini-residency at Boston University School of Dentistry. Dr Daft enjoys learning the latest trends in dentistry to better serve the needs of her patients, and can be seen at many community events educating adults and children about healthy teeth.
Alexandra Costa , DMD
Dr. Alexandra Costa is also a native Rhode Islander who graduated from Barrington High School in 2006. She is delighted and honored to be back in the area!
She spent 4 years in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience at Bucknell University. Following her undergraduate studies, she was admitted to the Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University where she learned the most up to date restorative and cosmetic procedures from faculty at the Boston Medical Center. During her time in dental school, she spent 3 months practicing at the Blackstone Valley Community Health Center in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, which treats an underserved population with complex medical conditions. She graduated cum laude with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree in in 2014.
She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Rhode Island Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society and the American Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Costa is newly engaged and lives locally. She enjoys running, playing golf, playing tennis and giving back to her community and local schools.
